Signal processing
Signal Processing covers the analysis, interpretation, and manipulation of signals. Due to the great scope of this area of research the focus of our group is on theoretical and practical aspects of audio and speech signal processing. In particular, analysis of signals in time-frequency domain plays an important role. Appropriate methods are used in the projects.
The objectives of the group are:
- solving blind source separation problems
- developing and improving methods for time-frequency analysis
- filtering of speech signals superimposed by non-stationary noise
